GoldenRules.net is a reading site. There are no accounts, no forms, no comments, no advertising and no affiliate links. This page explains the limited data that is processed when you visit.

Google Analytics

Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-0GQYDCLCV8), a service of Google. It sets first-party cookies and collects usage information such as the pages you view, how you arrived (for example from a search engine), your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. We use these statistics only to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy; see also how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

You can block Google Analytics with your browser’s privacy settings, a content blocker, or Google’s opt-out browser add-on. The site works normally without it.

Data stored in your browser

If you use the light/dark theme switch, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key theme. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Sharing buttons

The share buttons on rule pages are plain links. Nothing is sent to X (Twitter) or LinkedIn unless you click one, which opens their website.

Advertising

GoldenRules.net does not show advertising and does not use advertising cookies.
